G’Day Folks!

This is Dodgy86 in the mix, bringing you another comic book review. Today I will tell you about Deadpool’s Secret Wars #2 by Cullen Bunn with art by Matteo Lolli.

Everyone’s favorite annoying merc with a mouth is back! In 1984??

Okay Deadpool is in 1984 in this story because it’s his story of being in the Secret Wars in 1984… Involved with the X-Men and the Avengers!! Doing what he does best…Annoy the crap out of everyone and in the process, save the day!

I like the way Bunn introduces flashbacks into the story to enhance the story and shifts moods throughout this issue. This store is baffling in some ways almost like a What If? story, I guess that’s the fun with reading a Deadpool book as it’s not to be taken seriously and can be silly. Lolli’s artwork gives you nostalgia and sends you back in time to 1984.

Lots of fun, check it out!
