REVIEW: LFG (Looking For Group) #10

LFG #10

Let’s judge this book by its cover… World of war looking cover with great art and dark colours. It’s a little more serious than the actual book.

Without a recap page it felt very obvious that I was so late into the story, the mention of times past were completely lost on me. It didn’t take too long for me to stop caring about that and just enjoy these characters and the story. The action doesn’t stop and the laughs keep coming from Richard “the most powerful warlock in the universe” (self-proclaimed). The art is just gorgeous, it’s cartoony style and bright colours pop off the page and keep you lingering on each page after reading.

Although I’m not too sure why the dwarfs are attacking the mountain with the gnomes inside it’s still a fun book to read, don’t let the playful art fool you this is not a child friendly book, the violence and bad language is very prominent.

If it wasn’t for the Warlock Richard I might not have enjoyed this book as much as I did, but as it stands this issue is a solid 4 star book.

Hey, I'm Shane.
Been into comics since I was about 5. Loved watching Wonder Woman and superboy in the 80's.
I Started reading seriously about 10 years ago. Began to collect a few comic series, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Teen Titans, Justice League of America and Superman Batman all pre flashpoint. Being honest that was my favourite run.
