REVIEW: Regular Show: Noir Means Noir, Buddy

G’Day Regular Fans,

This is Dodgy86 back in the mix, bringing you a review on Regular Show : Noir Means Noir, Buddy. By Rachel Connor and Robert Luckett with art by Wook Jin Clark.

A delivery for Ridgy arrives, this is a delivery unlike any other! The contents spawn this storyline moving the cast into wannabe Investigators.

Pops is devastated after he discovered his drawer was raided and it’s contents are missing… Move over Magnum P.I, The A-Team and Miami Vice because Mortecai & Rigby : Snacks and Investigations are here to save the day. Along with their ragtag crew going undercover with a purpose of helping their friend. Using their investigation tools, the team must piece together the tracks leading from Pop’s drawer and the results may be overwhelming.

This book has it all; door breaking, undercover, spies, king fu fighting, shooting and chases. Nicely this book pays homage to crime dramas and cop shows of the 1980’s. Even the campy costumes from the era are a real treat.

This book is uniquely told by Conner and Luckett, it’s easy to follow – considering there is no text at all. Clark’s art style is consistent with the TV show.

I had a whole lotta fun, do ya’self a favour and check it out!
