REVIEW: Superzero #1

Superzero #1
By After-Shock comics
Written by Amanda Connor and Jimmy Palmiotti
Art by Rafael de Latorre

Let’s judge this book by its cover… The cover is great, it caught my instantly and I really wanted to read this one. Sadly the cover is the best part of this book.

The story itself drags along at a pace that feels like the book is 50 pages long when it’s only 21. It’s dull and even the fantasy superhero scene is boring. It pains me to say this as I’m a big Amanda Connor fan but this is not her best work.

The art inside is nice though, But that’s not enough to save this book.

For me this is a 1 star book, which it only gets for the great cover.

Hey, I'm Shane.
Been into comics since I was about 5. Loved watching Wonder Woman and superboy in the 80's.
I Started reading seriously about 10 years ago. Began to collect a few comic series, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Teen Titans, Justice League of America and Superman Batman all pre flashpoint. Being honest that was my favourite run.
