At 9am AEST Tuesday 10 October, BlackMilk Clothing will release its new collection, Labyrinth, marking the first capsule to be released in collaboration with The Jim Henson Company.
Founder and head designer of BlackMilk Clothing, James Lillis, said that Labyrinth was one of the most highly requested collaborations by the brand’s customers.
“Labyrinth is such an iconic film, and it’s one that many of our customers grew up with,” he said. “We love telling stories through our clothing, and Labyrinth’s classic coming-‐of-‐age tale and incredible art style are a perfect fit with the BlackMilk aesthetic.
“We are so excited to bring such beloved characters to life.”
The collection includes twenty-‐one printed pieces drawing inspiration from Labyrinth’s core characters, including Sarah, Jareth, Sir Didymus, Hoggle and Ludo.
Many pieces also pay homage to the film’s detailed puppetry and scenery, as well as Brian Froud’s original concept art.
The Labyrinth collection will be available to purchase for a limited time via the BlackMilk Clothing website at www.blackmilkclothing.com from Tuesday 10 October.
