Halloween ComicFest 2020 Exclusive Diamond Select Toys Buffy The Vampire Slayer Graduation Day Vinimate Figure Review
Halloween ComicFest 2020 is upon us, and its fitting a new Buffy Vinimate from Diamond Select is up for pre-order to pick up at your local comic shop for this event. So let’s dive in and see what Buffy Summers is offering up. This version of Buffy is based on the controversial Graduation Day episode. I say controversial only because it aired around the time of Columbine and it featured a school getting blown up and kids rebelling against adults to fight a demon. So let’s dive in.
The head sculpt here matches what we see on TV, just done in the Vinimate format, and overall it looks pretty good. I do like the new hair sculpt on this version. The body is covered up with what I believe is a jacket, but it could be a graduation robe.Its been a long time since I have seen the episode. The dagger looks really good in her hand but is non removable. Its been a long time since I have seen the episode. The articulation remains unchanged and the movement of the head is in line with what we see. Overall she is a nice addition. The first run of Buffy Vinimates is great, and having this iconic version is a fun piece.i do hope the line does well, so we can get more Scooby Gang members in the future.
