New York Times Bestselling Artist Hosts Evening Art Event, as Graphic Novel Approaches Publication

Two weeks ago, John Stanisci and Joseph Navarra launched an exclusive Kickstarter campaign to publish Stanisci’s original science fiction epic, LifeDeath, told in part from the perspective of a teenage female Jewish resistance fighter in the Second World War.

As the publication campaign enters into the home stretch, artist John Stanisci and editor Joseph Navarra will be hosting an exclusive event at the Long Island Glass Studios in Long Island, located at 194 Morris Ave, Bldg #24, Holtsville, N.Y. 11742. on Wednesday November 15 at 6pm. In addition to displaying art from the forthcoming graphic novel. John will be making a special announcement for backers and attendees!

John Stanisci has worked as an artist for both Marvel and DC Comics on such beloved characters as Spider-Man and Batman. as well as many others!

Lifedeath is a major milestone in my career drawing comics. I always wanted to write and draw my own material and I am so thrilled at the incredible response to my debut graphic novel” says artist John Stanisci. “Come join us for this very exciting evening on Nov 15th. I’ll be sharing some of my insights on the comic book industry after being in it for so many years.  We will also have original art and full color prints available. LifeDeath has added the Emmy-award winning producer Jared Safier, alongside veteran actor/producer Stelio Savante to help the graphic novel find a home as a series and to explore its development as a feature.

LifeDeath will debut as a 140 page graphic novel, written and drawn entirely by Stanisci, and produced through LifeDeath Media LLC, a trademark co-owned with editor Joseph Navarra. John Stanisci is New York Times best-selling artist for DC, Marvel and IDW Comics having drawn such characters as Spider-ManBatmanConstantine, Justice League DarkJudge DreddX Files and many more. In 2011, John’s book for DC Comics, Batman Beyond: Hush Beyond, premiered at #1 on the New York Times bestseller list for graphic novels. Joseph P. Navarra, R.Ph., FACA, is the owner of the Town Total Compounding Center, in Melville, N.Y.  Joseph P. Navarra graduated from St. John’s University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Queens, New York. Town Total Compounding Center is a PCAB Accredited compounding only pharmacy providing sterile and non-sterile compounding prescriptions. He is a past President and past Chairman of the Italian-American Pharmacists Society and a past President and past Chairman of the Pharmacists Society of the State of New York and is a board member of the New York City Pharmacists Society. Joseph is certified in delivering Medication Therapy Management and in Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery training.  He has received many awards while practicing pharmacy including the Distinguished Young Pharmacists Award, Preceptor of the Year and Innovative Pharmacy Practice Award.
