A new year begins for the management and staff of the Biggest Show in the Smallest State, and the guest announcements have already started. The sixth annual Rhode Island Comic Con arrives in town on November 10th through the 12th and it brings “Daryl Dixon,” Norman Reedus from The Walking Dead with them as the first headlining guest.
Reedus, who plays one of the leading and most popular characters on the hit TV show, adapted from the Robert Kirkman comic book series of the same name, is also known for his role as Murphy McManus in Boondock Saints and Scud in Blade II. This is Reedus’ first appearance at Rhode Island Comic Con and his only 2017 New England appearance.
Announcements began February 1 and joining Reedus on the expected massive guest list include Sebastien Roche from Supernatural, David Mazouz from Gotham, Steve Guttenberg from Police Academy, and wrestler Rey Mysterio. Additions to the celebrity guest list are announced every Wednesday on the Rhode Island Comic Con Facebook page, www.facebook.com/
rhodeislandcomiccon/ and on Twitter @RIComicCon.
Tickets are currently on sale through the Rhode Island Comic Con website at www.ricomiccon.com, and the Dunkin Donuts Center Arena box office. Rhode Island Comic Con arrives November 10 to 12 at the Rhode Island Convention Center, the Dunkin Donuts Center arena, and now expanding to the adjacent Omni Hotel.
