REVIEW: Adventure Time Volume #3

This collection of tales about Jake and Finn are provided by a wide array of talented writers and artists who pour their passion and talent into the Cartoon Network mainstay. While a majority of the stories stay on point with the popular character design and traditional characteristics there are a few offerings that vary away into the more abstract. Watching talented comic creators put their own unique spin on these popular characters yields some interesting results.

The full cast of characters is here. If you have any love for the cartoon then this comic should hit that same sweet spot. While the tone of the writing stays in lock-step with the TV show the variations on artwork can be slightly jarring. There are 15 different self-contained stories in this volume so there is plenty of bang for your proverbial buck.

A great purchase for any fan of the series. Final Score: 3 out of 5 stars!
