Review: Anubis Dog of Death #1

You are the God of death, mortals are nothing more than puny ants living their monotonous life and meaningless routines, but they all fear you, they kneel before you: Jackal God, the simple mention of your name makes a primitive fear flourish from the deepest of the heart of anyone who hear your name, but suddenly one day you realize that these are nothing more than memories of a past that may not return.

The ruthless Jackal God is now an adorable puppy locked in a kennel waiting for a weak human to seize his will, one day the wait has it’s reward when the beautiful Chloe Fayum arrives and frees the fearsome God from captivity, Anubis spent the next days adapting to his new situation and trying to get things at his favor and this is how he met in his way with other ancient Gods forgotten by humanity and others who just live among mortals, however Anubis plans are still inside his furry head waiting to bring them into reality.

Sindre L. FinnÃ¸y and John Barry Ballaran bring us this very interesting comic as a preliminary of their Kickstarter campaign which meets in all aspects: An original story with excellent art which I find it just great and I just love this comic, if you want to contribute to this wonderful idea you can actually visit their Kickstarter page HERE

Eres el Dios de la muerte, los mortales no son mÃ¡s que hormigas con su vida monÃ³tona y rutinas sin sentido, todos te temen, se inclinan ante ti, el Dios Chacal, sola menciÃ³n de tu nombre hace que un miedo primitivo florezca desde lo mÃ¡s profundo del corazÃ³n del hombre, de repente un dia despiertas y te das cuenta que esos no son mÃ¡s que recuerdos de un pasado que quizÃ¡s no vuelva.

El terrible Dios Chacal es ahora un adorable cachorro encerrado en una perrera esperando que un dÃ©bil humano aparezca para apoderarse de su voluntad y la espera tiene su recompensa un dia que llega la hermosa Chloe Fayum y libera al temible Dios de su cautiverio, los dÃas de Anubis transcurren adaptÃ¡ndose a su nueva situaciÃ³n e intentando de alguna manera inclinar la balanza a su favor y encontrando en su camino a antiguos Dios olvidados por la humanidad como Ã©l y otros quienes viven entre los mortales sin embargo los planes de Anubis siguen en su canina cabeza esperando el momento oportuno para hacerlos realidad.

Sindre L.
