REVIEW: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice: Lights Out

Let’s judge this book by its cover… This is the best cover of all the freebies. It’s screams Movie Poster and is what we want from these comics.

This one is the age old tale of who is better, Batman or Superman, as 3 young boys debates this and each have their favourite hero and share what they think makes their choice the right choice. Like so many arguments, one on the side of logic and reality with those over on the side of fandom and unrealistic expectations, ending with the innocent logic that we all think that these two heroes are too smart to fight each other and they would simply join forces to be even better at protecting the world.  All this from the mouth of babes.  They all get a reality check, however, when a young girl interrupts them and tells them that it doesn’t actually matter as Wonder Woman would wipe the floor with both of them.  Again the art is pretty flawless. A great one shot that might have been done before in many other comics but is done well here for this giveaway.

This one for me gets a 5 star for it’s fun and clever writing.

Hey, I'm Shane.
Been into comics since I was about 5. Loved watching Wonder Woman and superboy in the 80's.
I Started reading seriously about 10 years ago. Began to collect a few comic series, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Teen Titans, Justice League of America and Superman Batman all pre flashpoint. Being honest that was my favourite run.
