REVIEW: Deathlok # 10

G’Day True Beleivers!

This is Dodgy86 back into the mix, bringing you another Marvel-lous comic review of Deathlok # 10 by Nathan Edmonson with art by Mike Perkins and Andy Troy.

Henry is the current Deathlok, allied with S.H.E.I.L.D and was lead to believe he was providing aid to war zones for Doctors Without Borders… Since removing the false mind control mechanism implanted into his brain, his main concern now is the welfare of his loving daughter Aria since Biotek may plot a revenge attack on those close to him. Due to his appearance he doesn’t want his daughter to see him, with the aid of S.H.E.I.L.D he wants to ensure her safety.

This is a very well written book, as Edmonson takes you on a ride full of espionage and suspense. Being a reader of previous Deathlok books, I’ve never been pleased with solo books as they lack substance but this is completely different. Especially when there’s more than one Deathlok, that’s awesome!! Perkins and Troy’s artwork is beautifully laid out and the dark scenes really work and compliment Edmonson’s storytelling.

If you’re like me and need to start from # 1, wait for the trade!

If you’ve already read through, then do ya’self a favour and check it out!
