Eerie #8

Let’s judge this book by its cover… Creepy as all hell looking demon. The eyes seem sad though. It’s a beautiful cover.

This ones an anthology so I’ll just be reviewing one story here. I’ve chosen ‘Goldfish’ as it was my favourite.

What do our parents want from us really but to be good. When Jenner wakes up after her “accident” and her parents start to act weird whenever she acts anything less than perfect, she follows them to the basement where she discovers that she’s not their first daughter and she won’t be their last, because they want the perfect daughter…… And Jenner is not perfect. This was a creepy little tale. I have to admit I thought they had reanimated her after her accident, I didn’t See cloning coming at all. Nice twist.

The art for this one was my favourite as well. The shading makes it stand out from the others.

This book had a few good tales so I think it deserves 3 stars.

Hey, I'm Shane.
Been into comics since I was about 5. Loved watching Wonder Woman and superboy in the 80's.
I Started reading seriously about 10 years ago. Began to collect a few comic series, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Teen Titans, Justice League of America and Superman Batman all pre flashpoint. Being honest that was my favourite run.
