REVIEW: Elasticator #5

Spoilers ahead…..

Mikey’s father finally takes responsibility for the horrible way he treated his mother and him and the pair forgive each other and finally bond, meanwhile Luthor is about to start his final run to take over the city, Mikey has no choice but to team up with the cops to stop him.

If you’ve read any of previous reviews you will know I’ve loved this book since issue one, its gorgeous art that is simply a joy to look at to its stunning storytelling that built beautifully in a way that not only kept my interest but also made me care for the main character who didn’t ask for any of this but decided to do the right thing anyway.

Mikey isn’t your bog standard superhero but he is becoming a superhero in his own right, with the climax next issue to what has been one hell of a ride this is one book I cannot recommend enough. Either pop back and pick up the individual issues or wait for the trade, either way this is a must read.

5 stars no question.

Hey, I'm Shane.
Been into comics since I was about 5. Loved watching Wonder Woman and superboy in the 80's.
I Started reading seriously about 10 years ago. Began to collect a few comic series, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Teen Titans, Justice League of America and Superman Batman all pre flashpoint. Being honest that was my favourite run.
