REVIEW: Harley Quinn Loot Crate Exclusive One Shot

Let’s judge this book by its cover… Fun, colourful and beautifully drawn, everything you would expect from a Harley Quinn comic.

So Harley finds herself a Genie in a bottle and rubs it the right way. With unlimited wishes Harley gets everything she wants…. But does she actually want any of it?

As a Harley fan and reader of her current run I have to say this one is the funniest I’ve read in a while, the jokes are more of the same we’ve come to expect from Conner, fart jokes and a wish for Power Girl sized boobs make for a fun little read. The art is always a joy to look at and with not only the justice league making a guest appearance we also get a revamped glimpse at how Batman Mad Love could have been had the Joker been a much more sensitive and caring person.

This loot crate exclusive is a one shot and although it references several past issues of Harley Quinn you don’t actually have to have read them to enjoy it. That said its ending does seem to imply a carry over to the regular title. Perhaps this will be added to a trade in the future for those who don’t subscribe to Loot Crate. It makes a change to have an actual exclusive comic rather than just variant cover added to mystery boxes. This one is a great addition to any Harley collection.

For the fun and making me laugh throughout I’m giving this 4 stars.

Hey, I'm Shane.
Been into comics since I was about 5. Loved watching Wonder Woman and superboy in the 80's.
I Started reading seriously about 10 years ago. Began to collect a few comic series, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Teen Titans, Justice League of America and Superman Batman all pre flashpoint. Being honest that was my favourite run.
