She is working on Maise Brewn’s case. She is trying to save her building, protect her client and just hoping to make a difference in Maise’s life. Masie wasn’t always a shut in, but one horrible night her life changed and would never be the same again. She couldn’t rely on anyone and she couldn’t escape her demons. She felt she needed to stay in her home to be safe. And now that safety was being taken away. When Jennifer cannot reach Maise she decided to go directly to her. This case isn’t going the way Jennifer hoped and she needed to talk to Maise to make things right. She makes her way to the building she can’t remember which number apartment is needs so she asked someone but is ignored. She knew it was going to be a bad day but she didn’t know how bad it was going to get.

She makes her way up flights of stairs, feeling like something wasn’t right. There was something in the air that made her feel uneasy. The apartments were not numbers in order, she didn’t know how she was going to find Maise. This was not going to be good.

Then a stranger offers help, tells Jennifer where to go to find Maise, but also offers her a warning to leave this place as is may not be safe for her. So much for a nice chat with her client.

When she knocks at Maise’s door she barley pokes her head out, Jennifer asks to be let in as they need to talk since she didn’t answer any of her calls. Once inside it is apparent that Maise has not left this place in a long time. Jennifer tries to tell her she knows what It’s like to be afraid what it’s like to feel trapped but she can’t help Maise stay. This makes Maise very unhappy and without warning the worst happens…..what will Jennifer do to protect herself and Maise? We will just have to wait and see. Rating: 4 out of 5
