Let’s judge this book by its cover… It’s Midnighter vs Helena Bertinelli and it doesn’t look good for Midnighter…. Who am I kidding, it always looks good for Midnighter.
Great cover, the art is really good and the scene is great too.

So Midnighter is just getting out of a rather abusive relationship with someone he thought was a nice normal guy but turned out to be Prometheus, when I say abusive relationship I mean Midnighter straight up killed the dude, can’t get more abusive than that.

In this issue big game hunters are melding two animals together to make one even deadlier one for hunters to kill. Teaming up with Dominic Mndawe aka b’wana beast

The pair take down the hunters and save the animals, just in time for Midnighter to pick a pal up on her way out of prison.

I’ve yet to read a bad issue of Midnighter, it’s one of my favourite DC titles at the moment. The art is great, the fight panels make every battle look amazing and the stories are always fast paced, action packed and just plain fun. So far he’s teamed up with Grayson, kicked so many bells of crap out of countless Multiplexes, had his heart-broken and done it all while flirting and fighting like a sexy trooper. Midnighter is about more than just fighting, he’s got friends and lovers all over the world that he meets up with when he need to talk or maybe a little something, something *wink wink*. Calling him gay batman is an insult, he is so much more, he’s grown so much in so few issues and that’s a testament to the great writers. If you’ve not already picked up a Midnighter comic this is as good a place as any to start.

This one has become a 5 star book for me.

Hey, I'm Shane.
Been into comics since I was about 5. Loved watching Wonder Woman and superboy in the 80's.
I Started reading seriously about 10 years ago. Began to collect a few comic series, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Teen Titans, Justice League of America and Superman Batman all pre flashpoint. Being honest that was my favourite run.
