REVIEW: No Heroine #1

2020 has been quite the crazy year thus far. The one highlight has been the new stories coming from the indie comics world. No Heroine #1 is that kind of epic story. From the mind of Frank Gogol, we“re introduced to Kayla Strong. A vibrant woman who has a dark past entwined with drugs but wanting to move forward with her life.. oh and she“s a vampire hunter. Absolute badass.

This is the vampire story that you all need in your life. From start to finish, I enjoyed every page, both in the writing to the artwork. Those elements alone went together like a wood stake through a Vampires chest. The action was on point, and the sass followed suit as well. Kayla is one strong ass woman and this story will not disappoint.

In fact, this is the best time to dive into this book as the world is going through these crazy times, and I have to admit, I“m thankful that creators like Frank are not letting this series of events hold them back from continuing to create new stories and characters that we can all enjoy.

SCORE: 5/5
