Let’s judge this book by its cover… Tales from the crypt looking cover with a monstrous medium for telling of a demon child. Spooky enough for horror fans.

Spoiler free? Nope, not from me!

If you’re sitting comfortably we can begin… With Halloween slowing approaching what better way to get in the spirit then with an anthology of horror. This book has 4 terrifying tales of terror I’ll be reviewing just 1, I’ve chosen ‘you are what you eat’ by Rob Jones and Michael Sambrook.

It’s the Zombie apocalypse and man won…kinda. After nuking the world to stop the dead we misjudged and now can no longer grow crops or live stock. With no means of feeding the survivors the big companies came up with a brilliant idea, what do we have in abundance we can eat? Why, the Zombies of course. In a factory with grinders and packing plants, the workers ship out tones of “Smeat” the tinned food with vitamin Z.

An entertaining look at desperation and mans way of survival. The art is gorgeous and the tones of grey make this a very stylish take on the Zombie apocalypse. I would read an ongoing series of this.

The good, the bad and the star rating…
The good- Great idea and stunning art make this a pleasure to read.
The Bad- It’s very short, the ending is not a shock it’s very obvious.
The Stars- Overall for the whole book it’s a 4 star book.

Hey, I'm Shane.
Been into comics since I was about 5. Loved watching Wonder Woman and superboy in the 80's.
I Started reading seriously about 10 years ago. Began to collect a few comic series, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Teen Titans, Justice League of America and Superman Batman all pre flashpoint. Being honest that was my favourite run.
