Let’s judge this book by its cover… Bright and simple. Doesn’t make a loud splash but it’s simplistic design has a certain charm to it.

The best way to describe this book would have to be Bonnie and Clyde with super powers. What happens when troubled teens get super powers, they use them for personal gain. Accidental murder and botched robberies accompany this story of two young friends that just want to save each other.

This book has a very dark sense of humour (my kind of humour) while being so sweet and honest at the same time. These characters feel like they truly believe what they do is for the betterment of each other. How far would you go for someone you love? Would you lie, steal or even kill? All these are challenges that Madison and Duncan meet head on together in a Romeo and Juliette style romance that was always destined to end one way.

After my earlier review of just issue 5 I have to say I’m so glad I was given the chance to read and review the entire story. This is one of the best stories I’ve read this year, I liked the cover of issue 5 a lot better than this one though to be honest.

Only downside for me was the lack luster ending, for that I’m gonna score this book 4 stars, had the ending been a little more explosive it would have been a 5 star book.

Hey, I'm Shane.
Been into comics since I was about 5. Loved watching Wonder Woman and superboy in the 80's.
I Started reading seriously about 10 years ago. Began to collect a few comic series, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Teen Titans, Justice League of America and Superman Batman all pre flashpoint. Being honest that was my favourite run.
