Let’s judge this book by its cover… A-MAZ-ING! It’s dark and creepy look is done fantastically well, I adore this cover, it screams horror. Top marks.

The Wicker Witch is after Fin’s grandchildren and he has no intention of letting that happen, even if he is keeping a dark secret as to why she wants them. A great horror tale that takes you to the early 1800’s where we meet Abigail, a woman whose greatest loss has turned her into the monster we now see. This is more than just a monster story, something deeper is going on and before this book ends we learn something Fin didn’t want to ever have to face.

I really enjoyed this book and ill definitely be keeping eye out for issues 1 and 2, the only thing that lets this book down is the slightly too clean art inside. The art on the cover is amazing and the inside art is not as dark as the story it tells. That aside this is a great read and looks to be an interesting story to come.

This is a 4 star book, maybe would have gotten full marks if the cover artist had drawn the whole book.

Hey, I'm Shane.
Been into comics since I was about 5. Loved watching Wonder Woman and superboy in the 80's.
I Started reading seriously about 10 years ago. Began to collect a few comic series, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Teen Titans, Justice League of America and Superman Batman all pre flashpoint. Being honest that was my favourite run.
