New Custom Mortys and Avatars Revealed During New Season of Rick and Morty
Adult Swim Games is making big updates to hit title Pocket Mortys, introducing multiplayer today and weekly themed content launches that coincide with new episodes of the hit animated series Rick and Morty. Series co-creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland announced last week the triumphant return of the series, set for Sunday, July 30 at 11:30 p.m. E/P on Adult Swim.
Pocket Mortys comes alive with real time content updates starting Sunday, July 23, with the weekly release of all-new avatars based on season three episodes of Rick and Morty for fans to collect including: Commander Rick, Judge Morty, Summer, Tinkles, Scary Terry, Ants in My Eyes Johnson, and many more.
The game lets players assemble the best team of Mortys to train and battle each other in the delight of the consul of Ricks. Now with Pocket Mortys multiplayer, fans can battle each other across new dimensions putting their Morty training skills to the ultimate test while collecting dozens of new Mortys and avatars.
Since its launch last January, Pocket Mortys has been downloaded more than 11 million times, making it one of Adult Swim’s most downloaded free mobile game to date.Pocket Mortys is available now for free on Google Play and the App Store.
Invading the digital world, fans can become a Morty clone tasked with helping Rick in the new VR game Rick and Morty: Virtual Rickality. On social media and online more than 250k fans have explored the Rickstaverse on Instagram in the platform’s first ever game, with over 2 million registering for the Galactic Federation rewards card. The series also recently launched custom game experiences, with characters and branded items appearing in Rocket League, Move or Die, Gang Beasts, and Steam VR Home.
